ASIC program underway
Architecture, low-power circuit development and physical implementation for the first-generation mining ASIC.
High-performance ASIC solutions
We develop custom ASICs and integrated mining systems with one focus: energy-efficient Bitcoin computation, from the transistor to the machine.
Our focus
BitMaster Inc. is a US semiconductor company developing energy-efficient ASICs and mining systems for commercial Bitcoin operators.
We bring custom silicon, packaging and test, power delivery, and thermal engineering into one development program. Our objective is to turn efficiency at the circuit level into dependable performance at the machine level.
Our first-generation ASIC
A fixed-function ASIC designed specifically for Bitcoin’s SHA-256 proof-of-work workload. Its parallel hash architecture and custom low-voltage design form the foundation of BitMaster’s mining platform.
Follow our development milestones ↗The BS1001 program completed tapeout in summer 2026. Product specifications, measured system efficiency and commercial availability will be shared as validation progresses.
Engineering, end to end
An efficient mining system depends on decisions across the entire hardware stack. Our engineering spans the silicon, the package, the system and its cooling.
Custom circuits and cell libraries allow us to optimize the SHA-256 datapath around a specific workload. We focus on low-voltage operation and the balance between throughput, switching power and physical implementation.
Package design and test planning translate a chip design into a component that can be assembled, characterized and integrated. We coordinate package requirements, electrical interfaces and production-test development around the ASIC.
We develop mining systems with attention to hashboard integration, power delivery and configurable operating points. The goal is to balance compute output and energy use while supporting stable operation.
Cooling requirements influence power density, system configuration and long-term operation. Our engineering includes cooling approaches and heat-recovery concepts tailored to deployment needs.
Program milestones
Our first-generation program has reached tapeout. The next steps turn the design into characterized hardware and a validated mining system.
Architecture, low-power circuit development and physical implementation for the first-generation mining ASIC.
Successful tapeout on TSMC’s advanced FinFET platform, moving the program from design into fabrication.
Packaging, electrical testing, hashboard bring-up and full-system evaluation define the next development stages.
Tapeout is a design milestone. Final performance and product availability depend on silicon and system validation.
Our design team
More than 20 years in chip design and R&D, with contributions to multiple generations of Bitcoin mining chips. Experience spans energy-efficient custom silicon and the practical demands of product development.
Four principal designers, including two with Ph.D. degrees, each bringing 12–20 years of chip-design experience.
The team covers system architecture, custom ASIC design, cell-library design and chip packaging, connecting circuit-level engineering with system requirements.
A closer look
Both are part of our development program. We design the BS1001 ASIC as the compute foundation for BitMaster mining systems, with packaging, hashboards, power and cooling developed around it.
The first-generation platform is in post-tapeout development. Contact us to discuss evaluation interest, deployment requirements and future availability. This page does not offer a product for immediate purchase.
We plan to share measured performance following silicon and full-system validation. Chip-level design targets and measured wall-power efficiency are different, so we will identify the measurement conditions when specifications are released.
